"Fantastically fun device"
Fantastically fun device. I've had my Lumi for just over a month…and bought a second one to make a bigger keyboard when I want to. I love the modularity and the thought that went into it.

"Roli support: courteous, knowledgeable and helpful."
Roli makes complex products: lots of technical wizardry behind the deceptively simple appearance. Issues are bound to come up. On top of that, there is the issue of compatibility with other technologies: DAWs, plugins, computer OSs and the like. Not always a friendly or successful dialogue. Yet, whatever the issues, Roli support was there and always tried their best. From this perspective things have always been simple: they've been courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Not much more to say, really.

"Breach of contract, breach of trust"
A lie after another...

I gave them my money for free for too long given that I didn't get what I paid for, so I feel like I offered a loan at no cost to ROLI, much better than banks I guess.

There seem to be too many little BIG things passed unnoticed by ROLI, as it happened to several other customers as well as myself.

I am unable to accept a shipment from a SENDER that I am not awaiting for and I don't even recognize, from overseas and abroad, carried by a courier that I do not trust at all, it's common sense, specially if the real vendor or ROLI don't warn me about the incoming delivery, even more when we had an agreement before payment, signed by eMail, sent/received/confirmed by both parties that ROLI wouldn't use UPS as courier, because customers are NOT EVEN AWARE that the real vendor is not ROLI or Luminary.

They acknowledged the breach of contract but they didn't even move a finger to try and rectify.

Furthermore, I am getting too much unwanted spam and scam eMails about shipments I never ordered, but only after pre-ordering from ROLI, and I've never got this SPAM in the 20 years approx. that I am using this eMail account.

I rated ROLI with 3 stars just because I was refunded, but I think it is not fair, so I am editing my review to rectify, rating ROLI more properly according to my experience.

There are too many ways to add expression to my songs, like using multi-touch ribbons on an iPad, so I am not going to beg for this ROLI Seaboard RISE 2 nor getting obsessed with it, I just don't need it, because I've already used this waves surface keyboard before.

"Reliable company that cares about their customer s"
I had purchased a device on the second hand market and needed the devices registered to my account. Tiki was able to register the rise board to my account, but not the blocks and loop... Block. I reached out asking for assistance in getting those re-registered, but my ticket has been marked as resolved and want getting a response back. Their support, after some time, reached back out to me notifying me of some technical issues that had marked my case as resolved. They provided me with immediate assistance in getting everything resolved

"Roli is at the front when it comes to…"
Roli is at the front when it comes to MPE interfaces. Equator 2 is a lovely 'synth' but has room to improve before it can compete with the sound engine on the E Osmose. The Roli's surface is elegant and acutely sensitive (unless you don't want it to be). The overall design and build make for a dependable, boutique instrument whose expressive potential is evolutionary.

"Once the instrument arrived -> INSPIRING"
Once the instrument arrived, I was inspired to create. Despite all of the negative comments, I experienced fast, friendly replies to my questions. It is my belief that I should not have to seek out the latest info, but rather it should be provided - without my prompting. Unfortunately, the tracking info was inaccurate. The shipment was later than the time stated at purchase but earlier than the new promised date. I also purchased the software years before the Rise 2 came out but received no benefit of price reduction. I will say that the Rise 2 lived up to the hype and I enjoy using it and frankly it has put a new spark into my creativity. I a normally a guitar/bass player and the feel of the "frets" is very homelike. I can recommend this product.

Just got excited about Equator 2
Then I tried to download the software. The Roli Connect is not working at the moment, so I can't even review my review!.
When I say it isn't working, maybe the server at Roli is down. Hope to get things fixed with a ticket to Roli Support. Will update soon...
Roli have got back to me, and hopefully will solve the issue - Ticket #173900. Have added a star for prompt response!
Solved by me:
TalkTalk seems to block Roli downloads. O2 mobile connection worked fine after many days of frustration. Maybe Roli needs to talk to TalkTalk!
Equator 2 synth is indeed a wonderful thing (finally).

The support was not the fastest hence the one star being dropped, however when the support came through it was thorough and clear. All necessary information was provided and follow up mails responded to.

"Undeliverable keyboard"
Terrible, the company can't deliver a product. Customer service doesn't respond. I ordered back in November, everytime I reach out, they say they'll get back to me. Dates keep getting pushed back further and further. Save your money and don't order, might as well throw it out the window.

"I ordered a seaboard rise 2 in March 2022…"
I ordered a seaboard rise 2 on March 30th and should have shipped in November 2022. My ordergot delayed all the way to February 8th to February 15th according to a ROLI email. I have yet to hear anything since January 23. They have also been ignoring my comments and direct messages.

"My first experiences with the Seaboard RISE 2"
Enjoying learning to play the Seaboard RISE 2, although finding it a bit more challenging than I thought it would be. I am usually quite fast fingered and find MPE something that I need to learn to do better.
